The 25th Austrian Climate Day took place at the University of Innsbruck from April 23 to 25, 2025. To mark the anniversary, the Alpine living and economic area took center stage. The key topics of the scientific program ranged from challenges in modeling climate forecasts and impacts, to climate-neutral resource use and its economic and societal impacts, to the governance of adaptation strategies and risk management of climate impacts. Open Science board member Wolfram Weckwerth was jointly responsible for the scientific program and organized the concluding session, "Humans & Climate." This session focused on risk management of climate change impacts for humans and society.
