Her awarded communication, “Biological nitrification inhibition by wheat root exudates and its role in reducing GHG for a sustainable future”, highlights the potential of wheat root exudates to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve nitrogen efficiency in agriculture.
The award was announced on September 8, 2025, during the 47th Congress of the Spanish Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SEBBM), held at the Complejo San Francisco in Cáceres, among 298 submitted communications
